Meet Jim
For the last 30 years I have been a Software Engineer and entrepreneur.
I graduated from UMass: Lowell with a Business Administration degree. Due to the economy, when I graduated, I moved into the tech industry. I worked doing phone support, and within 3 years, I became a Software Engineer. I’ve worked for large corporations, like IBM/Lotus, Sun Microsystems, and start-ups, like ATG (bought by Oracle). I’ve owned and operated 3 different businesses with varying levels of success.
For the last 6 years, I’ve watched as our 10 state representatives have cut taxes for corporations and the wealthy in the state, while pushing more and more costs onto the town (DownShifting). Many of our representatives are engaging in culture wars to distract people from what is really important.
**As a candidate for state representative, I am committed to advocating for the needs of our community. My campaign, “Take Back the Power,” focuses on fully funding public schools in New Hampshire and reducing property taxes in Derry.**
